Sue Porzondek - Secretary

I grew up in Harbor Beach. My Bachelor's degree came from Ferris and my MBA from Wayne State. I worked for Michigan Bell for 16 years when I left to work for a CPA firm. I stayed there for 3 years until my husband, Marty, retired and we moved to our summer home in Grindstone City. I have continued to work for the same CPA firm for the last 17 years during tax season. I also work for my step daughter at Country Cottage Floral in Bad Axe. My husband and I enjoy traveling and we have tons of fun with our great granddaughters.

Judy Binkley - Trustee
I was elected Port Austin Village Clerk in 1998 and after ten years of service I retired in 2008. I had joined the Historical Society several years prior, but lacked the time required to be active in the group. Shortly after my retirement, I was asked to consider taking the treasurers position; I did and hold that title today. I am also very active at the Port Austin United Protestant Church; I am currently serving as secretary to the Faith Circle Ladies Group, Vice President of the Advisory Board and Chairperson of the Pastor Parish Committee.

I graduated from East Detroit High School in 1963 and moved to Rochester in 1972 to raise my two sons. My husband, Don has three children he raised in Almont. After marring in 1988 we moved in Dryden and were both employed by ITT Automotive in Rochester. I worked in Production Control and he was Plant Supervisor.

We moved to Port Austin in 1994 and opened our own business; the Village Car Wash and Auto Sales. At that time we were very active with the Chamber of Commerce and established and ran a very successful car show for eight years; the Port Austin Spring Breakout Classic Car Show.

My hobbies are watching my flower garden grow, feeding the birds, spending time with family and friends, needle work, writing and reading. Don is a car man so we spend a lot of time at various car shows and swap meets. We have six grandchildren that we adore; three boys and three girls and they provide us with a lot of joy.
